Winter Break 2009: Auckland

My semester/winter break is finishing soon, it's time to get back to study and be ready.

2 weeks of holiday in auckland was awesome. I got to stay in a luxurious student house, provided with ample of food and entertainment, and the most important thing was, i could enjoy the warmer weather there.

Food from Grafton. Thanks to all of them who 'smuggle' the food for me everyday, and because of that, i gained weight, must shed it off when i go back to christchurch...

James's box of junk food, impressive right?

Thank you so much to james, kee ping and bee ling for your warm hospitality, i really had lots of fun during my stay. And swarna, wish you could be here as well.

Villa

Hooray, it's holiday! I'm so gonna make full use of this 2 weeks of holiday....by relaxing, haha!

Picked up by james and kee ping last friday night after i reached auckland airport, and headed back to their new 'definitely-not-for-student' villa looking house. I'll leave the blogging copyright for the tenants to show you how nice the house is. But one thing for sure, it is magnificent!

On saturday night, james the chef cooked a complete dinner for us, with his new dessert recipe. Didn't do much on the weekend but it felt so nice just to chill out in their house.

Holiday is the best, yeah!

Dajie's Wedding

Today my sister is having her happiest day of her life, she is getting married! My parents have been so meticulous in preparing this wedding, they repaint the whole house, set up an automated gate, build a balloon arch, omg, it's gonna be so happening!

I still remembered last year before i left malaysia, me and my mum were discussing the theme of the night, music selection, food to be served, possible performance or programs... so detail as if we were going to hold a grand gala of the century, of course, we want to give the best night for my sister and brother-in-law.

Sigh, wish i could be there to share this joyful moment with her and my family...

Congratulation, my beloved sister and bro-in-law!

Destiny

A person's destiny is something you look back at afterwards, not something to be known in advance.
~from the book 'Wind-up Bird Chronicle'~

Do you think so?
