Chocolate Ad

This chocolate land seems thousand times better than Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Thumbs up to Whittaker for such a thought provoking advertisement. By the way, their chocolate is awesome, especially the dark ghana, gosh, it's really finger licking good.

Bugs

Yesterday i got this very cute forwarded email from pek yiong. It is about a series of soft toys with bacteria/microbes as main theme. Apparently the purpose of this invention is to educate small kids, and i'm sure it definitely serves the purpose well.

I never like microbiology, but this fluffy toy is simply irresistible.

Bridge

Bridge of Remembrance, Christchurch

After i introduced the card game 'Bridge' to my flatmates few weeks ago, all of them love it and we have been playing that every weekend since then.

There was so many funny things happened while we played the game. Somebody would crack some lame jokes and somebody would fart continuously. But there was one phenomenal incident that made me laughed hysterically.

The story was......

(In the middle of the game whereby i won the bid and called a card as my friend)

Raenna asked, "wait, mui how, who's your friend again?"
Ah Beh replied instantly as if it was reflex, "James"

Registrar

Today i went to Princess Margaret Hospital's library to borrow a novel, the librarian looked at me and asked, 'Are you a registrar?' I puzzled for a few seconds and said, 'i would love to become a registrar now, nay, i'm medical student.' The librarian laughed and thought i'm either a registrar or a house surgeon.

By the way, do i look that old? Don't care, i just take it as a compliment.

Felt so happy for the rest of the day.....haha!

Green Valley

This picture was taken on my way to Marae few weeks ago, using my phone camera. The driver stopped at this very beautiful place (which i forgot its name) and told us some story (which i didn't pay attention to). The scenery is really nice, and i saw heaps of sheep, but all of them are morbidly obese, and that's why i thought they are cute, haha!

Today during my posting in a GP in Bishopdale, a patient asked me: "Are you from Thailand?" (blanked for a few seconds) Do i look like a Thai? Nobody told me that before...

What am i doing?

I am doing nothing, constructive or productive. Everyday i watch movie, play dota or sim city, read story book....and this routine going round and round till i'm feeling a sense of worthlessness. Oh no, that's dangerous coz most of the people who commit suicide will have this feeling prior to the tragedy.

Haha, don't worry, i'm still sane. Just need to search for a new purpose of life for this 6 months. Purpose of life, a very deep topic that i came through during my selective last year. No direct answer for this, but more or less it is a realization of ourselves. I have a book entitled "The Purpose Driven Life" written by Rick Warren. My aunt gave me this book 3 years ago when i went to the church with her. Apparently it is a very famous book, and the title caught my attention, so i started reading it. But before i could finish half of the book, i gave up. It is not that the book is bad, it's just the agnostic mindset of mine can't take in the content. For a true believer, i strongly recommend this book, but i guess most of the believers already read the book.

So, my purpose of life for this 6 months still very vague. Just hope that something(good) happens and gives me some enlightenment.

p/s: I was checking my mailbox justnow and found something interesting. It was about date of birth and trees' personalities. Surprisingly i'm an Elm tree with noble mind, so true, haha! Click the image for enlargement and better view.
